Ideal Home Nepal is a non-profit social organization dedicated to protecting and empowering women, children, and adolescents affected by violence, discrimination, exploitation, and abuse. Established on 14 April 2009, the organization has its roots in Aadarsha Club (1992) and later the Ideal Women Development Center, Chitwan.
Ideal Home works in close coordination with government bodies and national networks to provide rescue, shelter, protection, education, psychosocial counseling, health services, legal aid, and skill development. Since its establishment, the organization has supported 1,190 women and children, helping them regain dignity, safety, and self-reliance.
Through awareness campaigns, rights-based programs, and vocational training, Ideal Home, Nepal strives to end gender-based violence and promote social justice while supporting family reintegration and sustainable livelihoods.
Long-term-Objectives
1. To make women, children, and adolescent girls self-reliant and respected in society through vocational skill development and education.
2. To create social awareness on all forms of discrimination against women, children, and adolescent girls.
3. To advocate for helpless women and children affected by various circumstances.
4. To establish economic opportunities for women, adolescent girls, and children to become self-reliant.
Mid-term Objectives
1. Provide educational opportunities through scholarships to poor and meritorious students.
2. Provide counseling, life skills, and development opportunities for women, children, and adolescent girls at risk of gender-based violence.
3. Operate vocational skill development and practice centers to enhance employability.
4. Conduct rights-based welfare programs for helpless women and children, including rescue, protection, and justice.
5. Establish Help Desks providing health, legal, and psychosocial counseling.
